Listen and
sing along

On this page you can listen to several archive recordings of Seto leelo. Some of them are regular recordings and the others, the so-called “karaoke” songs, are very rare Seto leelo multi-channel recordings. In karaoke songs, it is possible to listen to different voices of the Seto choir, because each singer's voice is recorded with a separate microphone (other voices are still heard, but more quietly in the background). These recordings give a very good overview of the rich polyphony of the Seto leelo. There are quite a few multi-channel recordings and they are a real treasure as the teaching material, because from the regular recordings, where all the voices sound together it is very difficult to listen to the nuances of the different tunes.
